The Lalgarh Palace -Bikaner This is the picture of heritage hotel taken from main gate of lalgarh palace from where we enter . Lalgarh Palace located in the Rajputana city of Bikaner ,which is an Indian state of Rajasthan . It was supposedly built between 1906 and 1926. Maharaja Ganga Singh (1881-1942) decided to name this vivid palace in the memory of his father Maharaja Lall Singh hence the name Lallgarh palace or people call it lalgarh palace sometimes. The Structure of heritage was designed by British Architect Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and the architectural style of the palace is an amalgamation of Mughal , Rajputana and colonial British styles . The three storey palace complex is so satisfying and built out of imposing red standstone quarried from the neighbouring Thar desert and features several grand halls , pavillions , magnificent pillars .
